Mohi is knowledgeable, professional and he absolutely knows everything about planning. Our planning application was refused 3x by Havering Council, under a different Architect We are losing hope and in so much stress about the whole process until I found Mohi by searching for Architect/Structural Engineer on Google. I would give six stars if I could! I called GR Engineers at 5pm in a panic looking for an urgent structural survey, as the sale of our property (and our entire chain!) was at risk.

I was in a process of selling my house. The buyer’s solicitor was asking for the documents of our chimney removal. We called GR ENGINEERS Ltd for the structural calculations of the chimney support. The engineer immediately attended to our site and observed the chimneys position. The steel design was done in a few days and we did not have to higher the scaffolding for installing them as the engineer designed those steels in splice and small pieces. I had my drawings and design done for 6 meters Kitchen extension and summer house by GR ENGINEERS LTD. 1st from the name of the company, I thought, this one only serve the engineering stuffs. When i approach them for drawing, i found they delivered me neat and clean drawings. They have got the good terms with council’s planning department. Mr Mohi Ahmed, did not charge me any extra for any consultation with council’s planning department or any amendment in the drawings. I have checked the price of other cheap architects. Their initial price for drawings was cheap but some of them were charging £250 for any small amendment in the plans or structural calculations. I added my chimney stack removal for free of charge on Mohi’s service. After the projects were completed, i allowed him to take photos of the finished work. I am recommending him to my friends and families for the architectural design and the engineering calculations.

Mohi has been so helpful for my plans of 2 storey side extension and loft conversion. He came up with idea of building the loft 1st then 2 storey side extension. I am letting the side extension part with a separate side and rear access from outside. All the structural calculations were done by him and they were accepted by Redbridge building control. He has never charged me for any amendment of the drawings or planning. I was unable to obtain local council approval for calculations related to an application for a single storey rear extension and loft conversion. The council continued to identify issues with submissions made by the engineer I had initially appointed which was delaying the completion of my project. This company is actually really good, I used another company from this site yell.com but the guy took six weeks saying my proposal for back extension has been declined.

So I spoke to GR engineer: Mohi, he advised on very small adjustment, re negotiated with the planning committee and then got approval with his new drawing plans as well all in 6 days. I should have used GR from the start so by now I would have a new bedroom and kitchen. GR also managed and organised to source the builders for me who has already started the work.
